Instead of washing out my own paleur, I found the neutrals actually flattered my skin tone by contrasting just enough to seem like analogous colors. Thanks, Swedish heritage! I celebrated this Scandinavian perk by getting Thai food on the Lower East Side. The Noah hat and RSVP Gallery shirt in combination are about as #hypebeast as I'll ever go, but that khaki palette was too good to pass up. I think Harbaugh is finally starting to rub off on me.
Speaking of Michigan: I move in to my new place exactly one month from today. In other words, it's already almost August! Time flies on a 9-5, huh? It seems like just yesterday that I was celebrating Month #1 in New York, and now, it's almost time to leave. I'll miss my adopted home; my dollar slices; beautiful parks and midnight runs.
However, I will not miss 3am sirens and 90% humidity. Somewhere, in an eighth circle of Hell, there lies Penn Station at rush hour. I hope we never meet again.
As for the rest of it: I have two more incredible weeks with everything NYC has to offer, and a list full of museums (Cooper-Hewitt!) and sights (Seinfeld diner!) still left to see. Sleep? That's for the Midwest. Here's to one grand grand finale.
